An opportunity for high school students to learn authentic computer science!

Teachers & Participating Schools
ECS is in 88 schools across Alabama!
The ECS course is being taught in high schools all across the state of Alabama. The ECS4Alabama program targets specifically those schools that have a high-minority enrollment in predominantly rural communities. With generous funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE), the program recruits one teacher per school for ECS Professional Development and follow-up support.
